Conference Review of AIoTC 2026
The 5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Cloud Computing Technology (AIoTC 2026) was successfully held in Nanchang, China, from July 17 to 19, 2026. Hosted by Nanchang University, the conference was organized by the School of Mathematics and Computer Science of Nanchang University, Nanchang University Institute of Smart Healthcare Technology, Nanchang University Metaverse Research Institute, Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality, Nanchang Key Laboratory of AI Technology Application in Smart Healthcare, and Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Electronic Data Control and Forensics. The conference was co-organized by the Jiangxi Society of Digital Economy, Jiangxi Joint Association for Science and Technology Innovation in Public Security, and Jiangxi Digital Intelligence Public Security Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance.
The conference focused on cutting-edge theories and innovative applications in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing. It featured one main session and one specialized parallel session, presenting four keynote speeches, five invited talks on medical artificial intelligence, and 18 oral presentations by young scholars. The diverse academic program, covering keynote speeches, specialized discussions, oral presentations, and award ceremonies, provided a vibrant platform for academic exchange and collaboration.
During the conference, intensive academic discussions and in-depth exchanges brought together experts and scholars from Tongji University, Sichuan University, East China Jiaotong University, National University of Defense Technology, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Chang'an University, South China University of Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, North China Electric Power University, Hubei University, Zhejiang Ocean University, Guizhou University, Chengdu University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Bohai University, Henan University of Economics and Law, Beijing Wuzi University, Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao, as well as research institutes and enterprises including Nanjing Korgi Data Technology Co., Ltd., Yunzhisheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Tasly Digital Intelligence Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Co., Ltd., the Emergency Department of Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital, ShengTai Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Automation Control Equipment Research Institute.
Opening Ceremony
On the morning of July 18, the opening ceremony of the 5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Cloud Computing Technology (AIoTC 2026) was successfully held. Prof. Weidong Min of Nanchang University, Prof. Jianqiang Du of the Jiangxi Computer Society, Prof. Zhenrong Lin of Nanchang University, and a representative of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Jiangxi Society for Medical Science and Technology Innovation, Shui'rou Xiong, delivered opening speeches. They warmly welcomed all participating experts and scholars and expressed their best wishes for the success of the conference. During the opening ceremony, an unveiling ceremony for the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee was also held.
Keynote Speeches
The keynote session was chaired by Prof. Jianfeng Xu of Nanchang University, Associate Researcher Zhenzhen Gu of Nanchang University, and Prof. Ying Yu of East China Jiaotong University. Four distinguished experts delivered keynote speeches, sharing their insights into the latest developments and applications of artificial intelligence and related technologies. Their academic perspectives and innovative ideas generated lively discussions and provided valuable insights into the future development of the field.

Specialized Session — Inaugural Meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Society for Medical Science and Technology Innovation & Medical AI Symposium
The specialized session, themed around the inaugural meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Society for Medical Science and Technology Innovation and the Medical AI Symposium, was organized by the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Society for Medical Science and Technology Innovation. It was jointly supported by Jiangxi Yijiaren, the CMAC Medical Affairs Generative AI Alliance, Junyishe (Hejun Business School Medical and Pharmaceutical Healthcare Club), Nanchang University Institute of Smart Healthcare Technology, Nanjing Korgi Data Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Uranus Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Yunzhisheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., and Amazon Web Services.
The session was chaired by Shui'rou Xiong, Fangjun Ji, and Chonglun Guo. Shui'rou Xiong, a representative of the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Jiangxi Society for Medical Science and Technology Innovation, delivered the opening speech. During the session, an unveiling ceremony for the Professional Committee, an election of its management team, and an appointment ceremony were held. Oral Presentation
The oral presentation session was chaired by Dr. Bodong Tao of Nanchang Normal University. A total of 18 young scholars from Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Chang'an University, Beijing Wuzi University, ShengTai Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., KN Group, Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao, Chengdu University, National University of Defense Technology, and other institutions presented their latest research. Their presentations covered cutting-edge topics including image stitching, autonomous driving, gesture recognition for the Internet of Things, edge AI deployment, multi-agent systems, emotion recognition, and machine learning, demonstrating the creativity and academic potential of young researchers.
Awards Ceremony & Closing Ceremony
During the conference, awards were presented for Excellent Papers, Outstanding Young Scholar Presentations, and Excellent Posters. By recognizing outstanding researchers and academic achievements, the conference aims to encourage more scholars to continue exploring new frontiers and pursuing excellence in the fields of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing. The conference then concluded with a warm and enthusiastic closing ceremony, bringing the event to a successful conclusion.
